A Path of Self Discovery and Awakening

Welcome, I’m Jennifer.

I invite you to slow down. Take a breath.

You’ve arrived at the beginning of a powerful journey. Through my offerings of Hakomi mindful psychotherapy, microdosing and sacred ceremony, I believe that we heal best when we heal with others, which may or may not be a familiar experience for you. I am here to hold you with loving energetic support along the way.

We can explore themes of belonging and safety, freedom, agency and personal power, relationships, trust, and much, much more, all based on my three core principles:  authenticity, balance, and embodiment.

Authenticity

Who are you, really? We all have grown up with a variety of influences that have shaped who we think we are and how we believe we are supposed to be in the world. Perhaps you know that there is more to you than the story of your life, or you may be just starting this journey. Together, we will work to uncover the core beliefs and coping strategies that may be holding you back. Often there are wonderful parts of you that have been hidden away, maybe for much of your life. You will discover what it means to be your authentic, true self.

Balance

Balance is one of the keys to a well-lived life. Nature finds its own balance in the seasons; the restful time of winter is just as vital to growth as the spring rain or the summer sun. There are many areas where we may find ourselves out of balance: work, diet, exercise, substances, relationships. Perhaps you feel stuck, or that the power to make another choice feels out of reach. Where do you make space for rest or play? Where do you force yourself to keep going because you feel you have to? You can begin to feel more empowered to craft a life that you truly love to be in, that feels balanced for you.

Embodiment

Your body is the one life-long relationship you will have. How connected are you? Our culture places a lot of value on our minds - how we think, plan, make decisions, act in the world, are all often driven by the thoughts in our heads. How do you feel about your heart? Your fingers and toes? The body contains so much innate wisdom. For example, you do not have to give your body instructions how to heal a cut. You may clean the wound and bandage it, but your cells know just what to do. Your body tells you when you’re hungry or thirsty. Embodiment leads to a deeper relationship with your whole self, with more awareness of what your body is communicating. Nurturing the body leads to more balance and a more authentic life.

The Dancing Lotus Path

The lotus has been a powerful spiritual symbol for thousands of years. It grows in the mud, and sends up a long stalk through the water to flower. At the end of each day, the flower sinks beneath the water’s surface to arise again. It’s a symbol of strength, purity, persistence, and rebirth.

Dance, in all its forms, is about embodiment. Even just tapping a toe along to a beat is more enlivening than sitting perfectly still. Dancing and movement bring expression to the surface. When we dance, we find a synergy between our bodies and the music. There is often joy in letting go of any idea of how we look and finding the freedom of our body. Life invites us to dance with it. You don’t have to know the steps. Just start moving.

The following three steps will start you on your way and help you to dance with the shadow and light, with the soul, with the earth, and with yourself and others. Trust the process…

Preparation

The journey begins by completing an intake form and setting a prayer for this sacred work. This part is crucial as it allows you to enter the experience with clarity and intention, ensuring a safe and transformative journey and also fostering respect for the ritual and its traditions.

Ceremony

Ceremony is a chance to become more connected to yourself and the world around you through the sacraments I offer. In today’s demanding world, pausing and spending a whole day with yourself may feel like a luxury. It’s an investment in your relationship with you.

Integration

Integration following a sacred ceremony is essential for grounding the insights and experiences gained during the ritual into everyday life, fostering lasting growth and healing.

AdditionalCoaching Offerings

  • Hakomi is a somatic-based therapy modality that invites you to explore your inner landscape. By slowing down, using mindfulness, and focusing on the body, we can gently access core beliefs, painful memories and create space for true healing. Our mind, body and spirit want to move towards wholeness. Hakomi is oriented towards this natural organicity.

  • A one-month microdosing protocol is a great way to start your adventure or deepen your integration practice. Tiny amounts of sacred mushrooms can help enhance mood, focus, creativity, and more.

  • Whether you’ve had a ceremony with me or not, I can help you weave together the themes and insights from your journey. We’ll discuss meaning and find ways to integrate the deep work you’ve done into your everyday life.
